License Agreement

Last updated: August 2026 · applies to Wardyn self-hosted licences

This agreement is between maxen (“licensor”) and the organisation that activates a Wardyn licence key (“customer”). Activating a key means the customer accepts this agreement. Wardyn was previously distributed under the name IT Portal; keys issued under that name are governed by this agreement.

1. Licence grant

2. Self-hosting and data ownership

3. Licence validation

4. Restrictions

5. Trial licences

Trial keys are provided for evaluation only, are time-limited, and may be revoked at any time. When a trial ends the instance switches to read-only mode — nothing is deleted and the customer's data stays on the customer's server. All terms of this agreement apply to trial use.

6. Updates and support

7. Termination

8. Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the licensor's total liability under this agreement is limited to the licence fees paid by the customer in the twelve months preceding the claim; the licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data hosted on customer infrastructure.

9. General

This agreement is the entire agreement regarding the software and supersedes prior discussions. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Amendments apply from the next renewal term and are published at this address.
