Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and the purchase of Wardyn software licences from maxen (“we”, “us”). By requesting or activating a licence you agree to these terms and to the Licence Agreement. Wardyn was previously distributed under the name IT Portal.

1. What we provide

Wardyn is self-hosted software. We issue licence keys, operate the licence validation service, publish releases, and optionally assist with deployment and ongoing operation. We do not host your instance and do not have access to your data. Use of the software itself is governed by the Licence Agreement.

2. Ordering and payment

3. Trial licences

We may issue trial keys for evaluation. Trial licences are time-limited and can be revoked or converted to paid licences at our discretion. When a trial ends the software switches to read-only mode — your data is not deleted and remains on your server.

4. Renewals and expiry

5. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the licence has not been activated (bound to a domain). After activation, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Evaluation before purchase is what trial keys are for.

6. Acceptable use

7. Intellectual property

The software, this website, and all related materials are owned by maxen. Licences grant a right to use the software under the Licence Agreement — the software is licensed, not sold.

8. Disclaimer and liability

This website and the licensing service are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always published at this address. Material changes are notified to active licence holders by email.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms — use the contact form on the main page or write to [email protected]. See also the Licence Agreement and Privacy Policy.
